MODS works exclusively with the members of Freedom Dental Partners and has a unified goal of making your practice as profitable as possible.
MODS was founded by Dr. KJ Sturhahn, who operates 4 practices in Illinois and Iowa - all of which have less than 50% overhead. Through KJ's leadership, the MODS team has over 20 employees all implementing his proven practice templates. This framework has been implemented dozens of times in markets across the country with predictable success.
Under their Advanced program, MODS will create a comprehensive evaluation of your practice, identifying the exact areas in your practice to focus first. Recommendations may include changing your suppliers, optimizing your scheduling protocols, or any number of dozens of proven techniques to increase your practice's profitability.
There are many variables to consider when determining exactly how much MODS can help your practice, but if you follow their instructions, you will see immediate ROI. Practices working with MODS for just 6 months see on average a $3,000 increase in monthly EBITDA for every $100,000 in monthly collections. Not only does working with MODS provide increased profitability in the short term - that $3,000 increase in monthly EBITDA means a $300,000+ increase in eventual sale value!
There are two options immediately available to move forward with MODS, and you are required to choose one.
Advanced - $4,986/mo - Practice Optimization & Growth
Most of the practices we work with fall under this option. If your EBITDA to collections ratio is less than 25%, you need to choose this option.
Under this package, the MODS team will work with you on a monthly basis, providing two calls per month and a detailed gameplan with step by step instructions you’ll need to take in order to improve your overall bottom line.
Coaching calls and consulting are only offered with the advanced package.
Basic - $1,494/mo - Minimum Integration
Under the Basic level, MODS will be delivering monthly reporting to our purchasing groups and evaluating your EBITDA on a quarterly basis.
There is no coaching offered under the Basic level.
If your practice is already at a 25% EBITDA to Collections ratio or greater, this option is right for you. If you are not at that ratio, you need to use the Advanced level until you are there.
